Farm & Supplier

Established in 1927, we have developed excellent relationships with farms and suppliers.  Here is just a little taster of those whom enable us to deliver the finest of meats ensuring traceability at all times.

Our beef and lamb is sourced mainly from farms in the Meon Valley, Surrey & Sussex.  Jo visits the farms on a regular basis to monitor the progress and well-being of each of the animals.

Our pork is delivered weekly.  The pigs are born and reared outside enjoying: the fresh air, freedom as well as being natural and additive free throughout their lives.

Our free range bacon is provided and delivered by Sandridge Farmhouse Bacon based in Wiltshire.  Using the Wiltshire Cured method this bacon has no added water.

Our chicken supplier is Arun Croft Meat & Poultry whom sources our chickens and delivers fresh up to three times a week to both of our shops.

Our turkeys and geese are reared locally on family run farms.  We order extra turkeys so we are able to offer these at Easter in addition to turkey sausages, made at our premises.

We also source meat from Smithfield and Hailsham market, where we inspect the beasts, pigs and lambs prior to bidding in a traditional fast paced auctioneer’s environment.

Our farms and suppliers are very important to us without whom we would not be able to provide the finest of meats to our customers to enjoy.
